19th Century orange-brown hardgrain morocco, ruled in gilt andwith gilt dentelles; comb-swirled marbled endpapers (front free endpaper professionally re-attached). Spine lettered in gilt. Very light dampstaining; very nice overall.
Early manuscripts note on verso of final blank.
Ex-Marquis of Bute with his chromolithographed bookplate on front pastedon and black and white armorial bookplate on rear pastedown: Cardiff Castle.
