The final ancient printing of Tyndale’s 1526 English New Testament was a major publishing event. The famous Bible printer of London, Samuel Bagster (who published the famous 1841 Hexapla New Testament), was called upon to produce the final edition of Tyndale’s New Testament in 1836, on the eve of the accession of Queen Victoria.

Also included free Bible leaves from a Pre 1644 Geneva Quarto & Pre 1650 King James Bible.

Description

The last antique printing of the Tyndale New Testament was printed by S. Bagster in 1836… a 4-color frontispiece of the eminent scholar and martyr, as well as a 4-color impression of the New Testament title page made possible by advancements in printing technology.

The exact facsimile (standing 8.25″ tall x 7.5″ wide and 1.5″ thick) includes 98 pages of the proceedings and correspondence of Henry VIII, Sir Thomas More, and Lord Thomas Cromwell together with 215 pages of Tyndale’s New Testament.

Bound in Leatherette (better than leather) manufactured to last a lifetime.

The original 1836 printing from which this facsimile was manufactured was produced on the eve of the accession of Queen Victoria: 20 June 1837.

This facsimile is manufactured by hand using the finest paper and 4-color lithography.
